As we celebrate the excitement of 2025, Wisconsin Swim Academy reflects on an incredible year of growth, community involvement, and exciting milestones with immense gratitude for each and every one of YOU!
Strengthening Community
Our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat event brought together families, friends, and local businesses for an afternoon of fun and purpose. Through the generous support of our community, this event raised over $15,000 for the Hope Floats and Family Learning Aquatic Program (FLAP) foundations. These organizations play a vital role in providing local scholarships, ensuring every child has access to life-saving swim lessons. We’re proud to have been part of their mission and to see the community rally around such an important cause.
We are also so honored to have participated in the 2024 Appleton Kids and Green Bay Parenting Expos, Butterfly Festival, and National Night Out. We loved sharing more about our swim programs, meeting families, and answering questions about how swim skills can empower children and safeguard our communities.
National Recognition
This past year, our owner and founder, Susie Van Ekeren, was honored with a prestigious appointment to the National Board of Directors for the United States Swim School Association (USSSA). Susie’s leadership and dedication to the swimming community have been the guiding force at WSA, and her appointment underscores the impact she has made on a national scale. We look forward to seeing her represent WSA and our shared values in this influential role.
Looking Ahead
Exciting things are on the horizon for Wisconsin Swim Academy! While we can’t share all the details just yet, 2025 is shaping up to be a year of growth and new opportunities, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Thank You for a Remarkable Year
We are deeply grateful to our team members, families, and community partners for making 2024 a year to remember. Together, we have strengthened our presence both locally and nationally while continuing to champion the importance of swim lessons and drowning prevention. As we dive into 2025, we remain committed to our mission and excited for another year of making waves—together!
